Saturday, 28 August 2010

The Review Class for the December 11th, 2010 BJCP Exam will be on Wednesday evenings starting October 6th, 2010.  We plan to hold the classes starting 6 pm at Larry's Brewing Supply in Kent, WA and will go for 3 hours or so.  We will review the beer styles and materials that will be on the exam, hold practice judging, and a full 3 hour practice exam.  All are welcome to attend, especially anyone planning to take the December exam or any of the up coming exams in our area.

Study materials will be provided as will beers for tasting and evaluation.  We have requested CEP credit for this class and anticipate that we'll be able to offer points to currently ranked judges who attend the classes.

That's right Alers, our own Dan O'Leary brought home a Silver at the NHC 2010 in Minniappolis, MN this past weekend. Dan has done so well with this same American Wheat Ale that I propose his name be changed to "Dan O'Wheat"! Way to represent Dan!

Cheers!
